My name is Talline Carvalho and I am the proud owner of the Talline Carvalho Insurance Agency Inc, located in Danbury, Connecticut. I have been with State Farm Insurance Co since 2005, and in 2015 I was given the opportunity to open my own insurance agency. Yes, given the opportunity, because owning a State Farm Insurance Agency is not something you can buy, it is something you have to qualify for, by showing your passion for helping others and that you will be an asset to State Farm customers, the community and the company. I am thankful every day for this opportunity.  I was born and raised in Brazil, grew up in a very humble environment, and even though I searched for opportunities in Brazil, there was something telling me I had a different purpose in life and I was to come to the US, and so I did, and I am glad I followed my instincts, this country is my home. I am fortunate to have a very supportive family that believes I can do and be whatever I want, that the sky is the limit for what I want and can achieve. Being an insurance agent was not something I envisioned for myself, however, when working for an agent, I found my passion for helping others, my passion for making a difference in people’s lives, so when State Farm invited me to have my own agency, I didn’t think twice. I love what I do, and so does my team.

I always say, I do not hire knowledge, I hire personality. I hire people that care for others, people that will put other’s interest before theirs, because knowledge and experience comes with time, insurance coverage and policies can be learned, studied, but caring for people comes from within. Our goal is to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and prepare for a future with financial stability for themselves and their loved ones.
